In summer 2015 Train to Create brought together fifteen photography students from two major European universities, to take part in a unique creative, exchange program. The project saw students from each university collaborating on joint projects, based on topics such as “inner cities”, identity and community.
The Phase One of the project was focused on Pier Paolo Pasolini’s work and his relationship with the city of Rome. The objective was for the students to see the parts of the city less explored by touristic routs yet still displaying a strong Roman character. The whole journey was documented every step of the way by the participants and Train To Create in the form of online diaries and video logs; and broadcasted through social media and a dedicated online platform.
The second phase will close with exhibitions of both participating countries, as well as the production of a printed publication. A dedicated documentary of the experience filmed by Train to Create, will also be broadcasted online and shared through our partner’s channels.
